The hotel Bellavista was opened in Lignano Sabbiadoro in 1954 by our grandparents, Silvio and Valeria Caoduro, people with a great sense of hospitality and love of good food. The hotel was reconstructed for the first time in 1968 and again completely recently refurbished.

Stayed second time for 2 weeks. Good location, helpful stuff, nice rooms, good food, very nice atmosphere in the city, but probably too many people in this season. Sea was questionable. Hope to be back again.
Great experience for reasonable price ia_orlusha - RussiaThe Bellavista is in the condition of a new hotel. Everything was in very good condition and very clean. Our "panorama" room #78 on the 4th floor was a bit smallish by american standards but very nice. However, the room had an excellent storage cabinet arrangement with a safe. The bed was very comfortable, good pillows, and linens too. Bathroom was in new condition and nicely appointed. Shower only with rain shower head. Small balcony but with a great view of the beach and sea. No English speaking TV channels, we didn't come to watch TV though. Decent free wifi in the room.
Being only English speakers we struggled abit communicating with most of the staff. And that was the case most everywhere we went in Lignano. Its either Italian or German in this area. This was our 5th trip to Italy and we thought that was unusual.
Breakfast was included and they put a nice buffet out. Definitely something for everybody with a large variety of everything. White linen tables even for breakfast. Didn't catch the gentlemen's name who is the host in the morning but he was very helpful and was very attentive to us. On the second morning he already knew what our coffee preference was. Nicely done sir.
The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Not one time did they not make us feel happily attended to. Always a ready smile from these folks.
